Before admission to the First Step House Of Del Ray an interview is necessary between the potential resident and a staff member. Most of our residents attend an impatient primary treatment program for drug or alcohol dependency prior to admission and interviews are usually set up through the individuals counselor, case manager or aftercare coordinator Potential residents who are not attending treatment may call directly for their interview. Once the prospective resident has completed the interview and has been approved for admission either an entrance date is assigned or they are placed on a waiting list.
